Exploring Kids Music in the CSS Music Library
Who would have thought that 40 years ago we’d have cable
channels like PBS Kids, Nick, Jr., Sprout, Teen Nick, Boomerang or even a
Cartoon Network Too, to name a few?!? There’s even Baby TV so you can set the 2
year olds on a path of television addiction. (Kidding!) With all these networks
and their particular appeal to certain small people demographics, there’s a
wide range of musical styles that go into creating shows for these networks.
CSS Music has developed a complete category of children’s
music—“Kids” under our Hand Picked Genre menu. We believe we’ve done yeoman’s
work assembling a good cross section of styles that will work with your shows.
And there’s no reason a “childish” track might not work extremely well in a
situation on a conventional reality TV program!
For walking the line between a child-like track and hipster
singer-songwriter, there’s Happy Simple Breezy. (Project Platinum Vl. 18) Want
a little Western flair with a playful vibe? Give Western Spaghetti a listen.
(Super Themes Vl. 20) How about a lullaby? You’ll find Goodnight Annie Rose
(Project Platinum Vl. 18) may lull you into a nap! When the job calls
for something cute and Classical you’ll find the very familiar melody from
Sylvia Ballet-Delibes (Digital Ditties Vl. 3) will work in a myriad of
situations. For the kids Christmas holiday scene, listen to Ho Mi Han (Super
Themes Vl. 7) Want to go retro with a swinging, playful track? The Little People
Theme (Repo-File Potpourri Vl. 15) will have you snapping your fingers! And for
a contemporary pop sound that’s definitely directed toward children, Ooh La La
Boom Boom (Super Themes Vl. 18) will have the toddlers dancing!
Comical, touching, off-the-wall, Classical, danceable or
just plain goofy, CSS Music has the styles of kids tracks that will enhance
your next show. Plus, we’re constantly updating our library based on your
needs. Our goal is to make you guys and gals happy, and we’re not kidding! J
